"The easiest way to make something beautiful and lasting is to risk making something horribly crappy."
"The emphasis on doing everything "right" introduces fear. Give yourself permission to make mistakes. For some of us it would be easier to climb Mount Everest than to not be critical of ourselves." -- Chris Baty, Founder of National Novel Writing Month NaNoWriMo
"The closer we get to giving our dream to the world, the fiercer the struggle becomes to bring it forth. Why? Because we will be inexorably changed, and life can never return to the way it once was." --Sarah Ban Breathnach, Author of Simple Abundance
For many of us, change can be frightening. Most of us have heard the question "What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?", but have you answered it? Have you acted on it? What are you scared of?

In making an effort to stay alert, I am assuming responsibility for the maintenance of my own soul.
-- from Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
If someone is about to hurl, give 'em the helm. Being in the driver's seat at the center of your universe, you become the cause instead of the effect. We must always ask ourselves "what is our desired outcome?"
-- from Ready for Anything by David Allen
Consciously consider what you are projecting and you will gain control of your future experiences. Pause during different parts of your day and ask yourself what you are intending from your next activity. See yourself in creative control of your own life experience.
